Paper read: "Within the Frame" by David Duchemin
Saturday, July 18th, 2009
I said in my post on Olivier Grunewald I spent a lot of time to get interested in other photographers. David Duchemin (based in Vancouver) is one of those photographers who inspire me, not just their images, but also by their approach. David is primarily photographs for humanitarian organizations as a professional and willing to share its experience accumulated during his travels and "assignments" (I can not find the equivalent word in French
)
I'm his blog "pixelatedimage.com" in recent years, and I urge you to go check it out.
Duchemin David has recently gathered all this experience in his book "WITHIN THE FRAME. It's all in English, but even for those who have a few basics, the text is clear and well illustrated. David addresses all the aspects of the photo, from the basics (composition, technique, ...) to more advanced topics such as ethics on travel photography. I think this book is aimed both at beginners wanting to learn with beautiful pictures such as experienced photographers who want to discover other methods of work or thoughts.
